The academic standards of St. Martha Catholic School are set by the Texas Catholic Conference Education Commission, the Texas Education agency, the Catholic Archdiocese of Galveston-Houston, the Principal, Staff, and School Board.
Curriculum guides written and published by the Archdiocese of Galveston-Houston, addendums written specifically for St. Martha, and TEA Essential Knowledge & Skills (TEKS) are used to plan instructional activities. Objectives in these documents give direction in choosing textbooks and resources to assure the mastery of skills. CURRICULUM GUIDES & ADDENDUMS give direction to our program. TEXTBOOKS are used as a RESOURCE. .
