Philosophy on Education My philosophy on education is that children should have a warm and welcoming environment, and a class that will challenge them to reach their full potential. Teachers need to teach to each individual students strengths and preferences because each child brings value to the classroom. God will be the foundation in the classroom so that the students will be educated mentally, socially and spiritually.
What is your favorite academic unit/lesson you teach or student project you assign? My favorite student project is our animal habitat project. Each student researches an animal. The students will do many activities in this project across the curriculum. During the final part of the project, the students create habitats in shoe boxes for their animals. The students also make their animals out of clay.
