School Mass Choir

St. Martha School Mass Choir is open to any SMCS student in 3rd-8th grade. During choir practice, there are many opportunities to study the liturgy as we share our Catholic faith through songs and prayers and provide explanations for better understanding of different liturgical seasons. The school choir will sing on Wednesdays at 8:15 a.m. School Mass and occasionally sing for special celebrations. Please note we may change School Mass to observe holy days, holiday and/or school events. We celebrate the sharing of the time and talent of all who participate with their service with seasonal celebrations.
For the benefit of all, SMCS Choir members must attend practices each week in order to participate at School Mass. We want all to be prepared and comfortable leading the music at School Mass. We will take attendance at practice. All Choir members are required to be in full dress uniform for Mass. Thank you for your cooperation and understanding.
